Nomination Story

"Brianna Allen is a Living Example of Our I CARE Values During an icy weather event in early 2026, when roads were treacherous, sidewalks were dangerous, and many across our communities were advised to stay home, we witnessed a shining example of who we are at Care Advantage. Our Director of Clinical Services, received a heartfelt call from one of our clients, Mr. M.T. He reached out for one reason, to express deep gratitude for his caregiver, Brianna Allen. Despite the ice, despite the challenges, despite the very real safety concerns, Brianna showed up for him every single day. On two of those days, when driving simply wasn’t possible, she walked, determined to ensure her client received the care and support he depends on. Connecting Brianna’s Actions to Our I CARE Values I — Integrity Brianna did the right thing, not because anyone was watching, but because she made a commitment to her client. Her consistency, even in dangerous weather, demonstrates unwavering integrity. C — Compassion Walking through icy conditions wasn’t an obligation; it was compassion in action. Brianna chose empathy over convenience, ensuring Mr. T felt safe, supported, and cared for during a stressful weather event. A — Accountability She held herself accountable to her responsibilities and to the trust her client places in her. Instead of calling out or delaying care, she found a way to fulfill her duties safely and reliably. R — Respect By ensuring continuity of care, Brianna honored Mr. T’s dignity and needs. Her actions send a clear message: our clients matter, and their wellbeing is our priority. E — Excellence Few things represent excellence more clearly than going above and beyond, especially in adverse conditions. Brianna didn't merely meet expectations; she exceeded them in a way that inspires us all. Why This Story Matters Brianna’s commitment reminds us that the heart of Care Advantage isn’t found in our offices or systems, it’s in the people who show up, with courage and kindness, every single day. She is a great example of Frontline Care! Her actions turned a difficult weather week into a profound moment of pride for all of us. She not only cared for her client; she demonstrated what I CARE looks like when lived out loud."
